Alfabeta was established in 1978 and is an indepen­dent publisher of quality children’s literature. We publish approximately 50 new titles per year for all ages and in all categories – picture books, middle grade, young adult novels and non-fiction.
 
We have a long history and extensive experience of selling translation rights in our Swedish titles, both as licensing deals and as co-editions. Some of our popular and classic titles have been sold into 10, 20 or 30 territories.
